Josh is a Canadian-born writer living in Australia.
He grew up in a residential childcare home run by his mother. Josh's experiences ultimately inspired his debut novel: Not my circus.
Josh trained in psychology, but never worked a day in that field. The reason for this is obscure. Some claim he was kidnapped by an IT company and forced to write technical manuals for years. The real reason, he insists, is his wife's profession: one psychologist in the family is enough.
Other than servitude as a technical writer, Josh has been a foam inspector at a brewery, a musket shooter at Toronto's Old Fort York, a mould scraper at a cheese factory, an educator of diminutive scoundrels (primary school teacher), a pot washer, a business analyst and a professional latte drinker.
